Four Days of Tube Strikes Announced
I imagine Addison Lee phone lines will be heating up today as the RMT Tube Strikes are announced (via @CharleneWhite). The dates are (updated via Going Underground):
- Sunday 19th June – Monday 20th June
- Monday 27th June
- Wednesday 29th June
- Friday 31st July
I imagine when we learn about the voting percentages on these, it will show a tiny amount of support for the strike even with the union. Dave’s 50% law seems to have gone under the radar recently, which we need to see brought in.
And this is all bad news for Boris whose ‘No Strikes’ pledge seems to have backfired… I suppose at least there will be Boris bikes for people to ride into work those days.
